Fizz, foam, color, sparkle
What is inside a Hawleywood Bubbles bath bomb?
Our recipes are made for colorful bath art, happy scents, soft-feeling bath water, and the kind of fizzy surprise that makes kids actually want to hop in the tub.
- Handmade in small batches
- Foamy, fizzy, and colorful
- Fun scents and surprise details
- Ingredient notes for parent peace of mind
The Fizzy Base
Baking Soda + Citric Acid
This is the classic fizz team. When the bath bomb hits water, these two ingredients react and create the bubbly show.
Cornstarch + Cream of Tartar
These help with texture, smoothness, and the way the bath bomb holds together before its big tub debut.
Epsom Salt + Kaolin Clay
These give the bath water a soft, silky feel and help the finished bath bomb feel polished instead of powdery.
Foam, Color & Bath Art
SLSA
SLSA helps create fluffy foam and bubbles, giving bath bombs that extra wow moment in the water.
Polysorbate 80
This helps oils, colors, and shimmer mix more evenly into the bath water instead of sitting on top.
Mica, Dyes & Clays
These create bright colors, swirls, embeds, and surprise bath art. Designs can vary because each batch is handmade.
Sugar Decorations & Botanicals
Some bath bombs include sugar decorations, shimmer, or botanical touches for extra character and charm.
Oils, Butters & Scents
Skin-Softening Oils
Depending on the item, we may use oils like grapeseed, avocado, coconut, sunflower, jojoba, hemp, or sweet almond oil.
Cocoa & Shea Butter
Some recipes include butters to make the bath water feel richer and leave skin feeling soft after the fizz settles.
Fragrance & Essential Oils
Scents may come from fragrance oils, essential oils, or a blend of both. Product pages list scent details whenever available.
Surprise Inside
Toys, Charms & Little Treasures
Many of our character-style bath bombs include a surprise toy, charm, or small extra hidden inside for the big reveal.
Safety Note
Surprise items may be small and are not intended for children under 3. Adult supervision is recommended during bath time.
Allergy & Sensitivity Notes
Some products may contain or come into contact with ingredients that sensitive shoppers may want to check first.

- Coconut oil or coconut-derived ingredients
- Fragrance oils or essential oils
- Colorants, mica, dyes, shimmer, or glitter-style ingredients

Tub Tips
Remove all wrapping before placing a bath bomb in water.
Drop it into a filled tub and enjoy the fizz, foam, color, and surprise reveal.
Use caution getting in and out of the tub, especially with products that contain oils.
Rinse the tub after use to clear leftover color, shimmer, oils, or decorations.
Bath bombs are made for bathtubs. Please do not use them in pools, hot tubs, or jetted tubs unless a product specifically says it is safe for that use.
Looking for a specific ingredient?
We are working on adding exact ingredient lists to each product page. Since scents, colors, oils, toys, and decorations can vary by item, the product page is the best place to check before ordering.
